In 2017, the Osceola Group entered into a formal partnership with Hard Rock International to expand the brand globally. One of Osceola Group’s primary missions is to develop Hard Rock casinos and hotels in Native America and throughout the world.

Hard Rock was born in 1971 when two young Americans, on the hunt for a good hamburger in London, opened their own American-style diner there. Today, the company that began with one music-themed Hard Rock Café is one of the world’s most globally recognized brands. Hard Rock’s massive global presence includes hundreds of restaurants, hotels, casinos and live music venues around the world, from Chicago and Las Vegas to Barcelona, Spain, and Dubai.

Known for collectible fashion and music-related merchandise, memorable dining experiences and Hard Rock Live performance venues, Hard Rock also has a strong presence in the resort and casino industry, with 8 properties in the U.S. and one each in Canada, the Dominican Republic and Macau, China.

Seminole Tribe

The Seminole Tribe of Florida purchased Hard Rock International in 2007, with a long-term commitment to invest in the brand. It was the largest purchase ever by an American Indian tribe. They assumed complete global ownership of the company in 2016.
